Incredible Melting Man

"The Incredible Melting Man" a space shocker produced by Max J. Rosenberg and Sam Gelfman follows the terrifying exploits of an astronaut whose space contracted disease causes his flesh to liquefy - and its equally chilling remedy. The movie features the extraordinary special effects of Rick Baker, whose creations for "The Exorcist" arid "King Kong" electrified audiences around the world. The picture was written and directed by William Sachs. "The Incredible Melting Man" marks the forty-ninth feature film produced by Max J. Rosenberg. His most recent pictures include "At the Earth's Core," "The Land That Time Forgot," and "The People That Time Forgot," which is currently in release. Rosenberg, whose productions are not confined to horror-fantasy, is noted as a master of the genre. Previous pictures bearing the Rosenberg stamp are "From Beyond the Grave," "Vault of Horror," "Tales From the Crypt," "The House That Dripped Blood," "They Came From Outer Space," and "The Deadly Bees." The vast majority of his pictures were highly successful box office grossers. Sam Gelfman, whose first independent production

was the box-office smash "Cannonball" was associated with Artists Entertainment Complex and was a top production executive at United Artists. Both Rosenberg and Gelfman are currently planning several joint features in addition to their slate of independent features. "The Incredible Melting Man" is being distributed by American International Pictures domestically and in Canada. Producer Max J. Rosenberg is fast becoming known throughout the motion picture industry as one of the true masters of the genre. Rosenberg, whose current chiller produced in association with Sam Gelfman, "The Incredible Melting Man" opened in 1977 It certainly doesn't confine his productions to the horror-fantasy mode alone, but he also has a great appreciation of these special accolades. "The Incredible Melting Man" is Rosenberg's forty-ninth feature film, and the vast majority of them have been highly successful draws. His most recent pictures include "At the Earth's Core," "The Land That Time Forgot" and "The People That Time Forgot" which is currently in release. Some of the previous pictures bearing the Rosenberg signature include "From Beyond the Grave," "Vault of Horror," "Tales From the Crypt," "House That Dripped Blood," "They Came From Outer Space," and "The Deadly Bees."
